At Paradise Studios, we add warmth, character and life to a room to make it truly inviting and irresistible. From elegant to rustic, we can add a touch of the old world, traditional beauty or contemporary flair to any space.
Having completed full spectrum design and artist application on multitudes of projects, Paradise Studios has well rounded knowledge and experience in the field. Paradise Studios has worked on projects ranging from the designing of The Roman Casino from the ground floor to completion, many brilliant trompe l’oeil murals in various homes and restaurants. They have worked in celebrity’s homes and created rich and beautiful wall finishes in every type of room imaginable. Paradise Studios has an impressive large body of work behind them. They have painted extraordinary murals and faux finishes in Kirkland, Bellevue, Seattle, Redmond and more.
Paradise Studios is a unique company formed by identical twin sisters, Heidel and Raya Bethel. With 19 years experience in fine art and studying with renowned artists in their early years, they have developed a diverse level of skill and creative direction. Through drawing and painting courses, Raya and Heidel have received extensive training that they have applied for years in project execution. The identical twins have worked on paintings side by side for years. Starting off their great works with oil on canvas, they eventually transitioned to small and large scale murals .They work in tandem on trompe l’oeil murals, matching painting styles exactly, allowing the finished piece to look like it was painted by one artist. They have a versatile ability to paint in styles ranging from realism to surrealism to impressionism to whimsical. Heidel and Raya have a great talent for painting reproductions capturing the beauty of a classic or renaissance piece of art. They have completed these types of projects all around the South Puget Sound as well including Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, and Olympia.
While having received a great deal of training in the fine arts, Paradise Studios has extensive training involving product knowledge and application of fine wall finishes including faux finishes and Venetian Plaster. They are certified applicators of Stucco Italian Products, Tex Ston Products, Milestone Concrete Coatings, Smith Color Concrete Stains, Shimmerstone and much more. The fine finishes include Venetian Plaster, Lime based Plasters, Italian Marmarino, Architectural Wall Glazing, Designer Faux Finishes, Tuscan Plasters, and Decorative concrete treatments. Paradise Studios is always striving to be on the cutting edge of new Italian Plasters and faux finishes to offer with our repertoire. Paradise Studios is based out of Kirkland and Olympia. They work area encompasses Bellevue, Kirkland, Seattle, the greater eastside and the South Puget Sound as far south as Olympia.. The areas they have produced fabulous faux finishes and murals also include Renton, Woodinville, Sammamish, Issaquah, Mukilteo and many other areas. They have completed many projects in the South Puget sound area in the Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Puyallup, Vashon Island, and Olympia.
